Your privacy and data

You can take your data back at any time.

How you delete it depends on which app you use, because the two are built differently. Both routes are below, along with how advertising works and where the full policies live.

Deleting your data

Two apps, two different answers.

Financial entries in the free app live on the device. Pro stores account data on a backend, and deletion is immediate.

You, LLC (free)

Statement and debt data you enter is stored only on your device, so deleting the app deletes those books. We hold no copies and cannot restore them. To remove the email used for your account, contact support.

Uninstall the app to remove on-device data permanently.

You, LLC Pro

Pro syncs through a backend to support bank connections, so there is an account — and you can delete it yourself from inside the app.

  1. Log into your account on your mobile device.
  2. Open the Other tab, bottom right, and press Delete Account.
  3. Confirm. All data is deleted immediately.

Some institutions keep their own record of the connection. You may also want to revoke access from your bank’s site.

Advertising and tracking

Ads keep Pro affordable. You decide how targeted they are.

Opting out does not remove ads. It stops them being tailored to your activity.

Opt out of personalized advertising

Use your device’s system setting — “Allow Apps to Request to Track” on iOS, or “Ads” under Google settings on Android. Turning it off applies to You, LLC Pro along with every other app.
