Data Deletion
Your ability to delete your data differs between You, LLC and You, LLC Pro, based on how they are designed.
You, LLC (Standard)
The standard version of You, LLC has no backend server. All data you enter is stored exclusively on your device.
To delete your data, simply uninstall the application from your device. This will permanently remove all of your information. We have no copies.
To delete your account fully, navigate to the Other tab (lower right corner) and press "Delete Account" at the bottom of the screen.
You, LLC Pro
The Pro version uses a backend to sync data via Plaid and provide advanced features. You can delete your account right from the app. Please follow these steps:
- Log into your account on your mobile device.
- Navigate to the Other tab (lower right corner) and press "Delete Account" at the bottom of the screen.
- Follow the instructions to delete your account. All data is immediately deleted. You may still need to manually remove links from certain financial institutions. (i.e. Chase, Bank of America, etc.)
